how we can change the world

I don´t think we can change the world but we can do our part. Please check www.freerice.com Check the site. There´s an easy game where you can learn some vocabulary and test your skills. Even a Child can do it. For each correct answer, the UN gives some grains of rice to feed hungry children in India. Now it´s India, at another time it might be somewhere else. Wouldn´t it be wonderful if we coulfd have one child without hunger pains by playing a small game for 5 minutes? I hope I don´t get deleted: link posting is against mylot´s rules. Unfortunately we can't change the whole world, but we can make a difference by taking action. As Taylor Hanson said, "We don't want to be the generation of awareness, we want to be the generation of action." He and his brothers have been teaming up with different organizations to help the people of Africa by starting Take The Walk which involves taking a mile walk (barefoot is best so that you know how it feels to not have a pair of shoes, but is not required) and they donate a dollar for every person that walks. They have put a song on Itunes called "Great Divide" where all proceeds go to getting help for AIDS. Take the Walk is working to build a school and building a well also. The major organization they have teamed up with is TOMS shoes, for every pair you buy they will send another pair to a child in need. I now have two pair. They are extremely comfortable and I love wearing them, showing that I have helped at least two children in this world. If you want to make a difference, find organizations to donate to, volunteer with, or find places likes TOMS and takethewalk.net. They are out there, and people are trying to make a difference - one step at a time.

Change your self instead of changing the world it will change automatically.
