Bussiness-management-"LOYALITY OR QUALIFICATION"

Bussiness-management - Loyality will fetch more over qualification
India

Hello everyone here Ji, I was watching a serial last night, and I heard a big successful bussiness typhoon convincing his son, to consider 'Loyality' of a person than 'qualification', while considering employment. He was very much hopeful that loyality by a emploee would fetch more benifits than qualifications, as loyality added with experiences in the organisation would be benifitted. I am really imppressed and I too would go along with him. What is your thought on this issue . Please spare few minutes and opine frankly. may god bless you and have great time.

I totally agree. Loyalty is a quality that is hard to find and also hard to detect. A person may be highly qualified from the best of the institutions, but if he has no loyalty he would either not stay in the company for long or he would be corrupt and do his job for his personal benefits. On the other hand a person who is loyal would adopt the company as his own and step up at times of any crisis. He will have strong ethical values and if he has experience in the type of job he is assigned with, he makes the best candidate for the job. A person who has passion for the job and his company can be trusted upon with confidential information which if revealed might have adverse effects on the company. Academical qualifications is just on paper and history shows that many successful people like Bill Gates, Einstein, Ford, etc were not highly qualified. One needs a lot of street smartness and integrity to make it big. Have a nice day!

Hello my dear nikky28 Ji, So niceof you for your positive and a quick response. I think, you have eaten nuts of the subject. Our younger son joined and remains in same company. It is more than 12 yrs past. He gets, whatever he wants. My hubby had lot many times discussions as many people keep leaving and atre very fond of changing their job. But he too says the same thing. Your examples too are very much fitting, even Reliance owned by Late Dhirubbhai was less qualified than his both sons, now seperated. So let's remain loyal and earn something for the organisation, which is much more than earning money. may god bless you and have a great time.

We were once fooled by an employee by tailoring his resume according to the qualifications we are looking for. He seemed very versed and studied well the job description. He even falsify documents pretending to be someone who is not. And worse he passes the background checking as he has a woman who handles all the numbers that is being referenced to who is working for him (his live in partner).Bottom line, we have paid for a higher cost, ineeficient worker for 6 months. The saddest thing is that we have lost some loyal employee who got demotivated because of the demeaning words from the UPPER PEOPLE thinking that NO one is indispensible and they could always find a replacement especially in times of crisis. With this wrong move.....LOYALTY MATTERS over qualifications, for qualifications can be tailored, while loyalty must be treasured.
