What do you prefer to give or to receive?

Well when I receive something from my friends or my love ones I appreciate it, but I more appreciate the thought of remembering me even with occasion or with out an occasion. But the feeling of giving or helping someone is different, it comes out voluntarily, and it comes from my heart. It's a good feeling! How about you guys? Have a nice day to all of you!

Aside from material things, I love to get cards and letters from my friends and loved ones I treasure those things a lot. In fact, I still keep all the cards and letters that was given to me years ago....

I prefer giving.Following the karmic laws, what ever you give comes back to you!I am taught to give when i meet people by my parents.Need not be a costly gift.May be just a flower from my garden .Or it can be a prayer in my mind for the person i met.Or just giving a compliment can make the day for a person.

Well that is great! Asmile from their faces is enough of me, seeing them happy. Reaching a hand or holding a hand to feel your their makes me feel better. I don't expect anything in return it's enough a smile and saying thank you will make my heart pound. Have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

Well for me I feel great when I give then to receive. Especially when your helping out and reaching people. Well when people give me gifts I feel good also, it's like appreciating me for what I am and really feel flattered, but it's the thought that counts a lot. Have a great day to you!

Same with me. But giving me gifts is the thought that counts so much to me. But I rather give and help and reaching out a hand to people and I feel good about it! Anyway have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

To me its finding a balance, I feel really uncomfortable with people giving me things, And I like making and giving things to other people, but I get a bit frustrated if year after year I get them something for their birthday And I hardly get so much as a card for mine, or the other scenario, I have no allowance, I had three friends who talked about having over 100 dollars in savings (this is when I was thirteen) I would continually spend part of my christmas money, (when they got more) to buy EACH of the three of them a christmas gift, and then their mom would buy a gift for me. Not even a thought or opinion or card from what are supposed to be close friends. That frustrated me quite a bit. But I also have a hard time being given to, because I rarely have anything to give back (I grew up with very little in the way of material things, and yet so much compared to others.) So I always wondered if other people Thought I was doing to them What I was so frustrated with my friends did to me..... very confusing, I know

I do understand what you feel. But when you give something it comes from the heart, it's voluntarily. I don't expect anything in return. But do say always thank you! Anyway have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

Don't you feel good to receive a gift a friend of yours. Because he/she might just thinking or remembering you. You should treasure this friendship forever.

Yes I feel good to received gifts especially from friends and long lost friends. I am flattered, but it's not really the gift but the thought of it that counts a lot. Have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!
