I have just returned from Lincoln after a weeks snowboarding with my husband and eldest daughter. We left our youngest at the mother in laws and I missed her like crazy!!! My husband & I snowboard whilst Georgia, my eldest daugther skis. We stayed at Indian Head Resort which was good and travelled to Loon & Cannon mountains. Our first day we travelled to the top in the Gondolas, It was our first time on a real mountain, Georgia hated the Gondolas. We got to the top, sorted ourselves out and off we went. Well I fell over with 5 metres!!! Georgia made 3 corners before falling over and refused to go any further!! I spoke to a member of staff who stated "I'll call you a cab" to which I laughed!! Within a few minutes another member of staff on a snowboard appeared with a sledge in tow. The member of staff introduced herself as Amanda and we jumped in the sledge. The ride down was awesome and even Georgia enjoyed it. We booked Georgia in for an hours lesson to build her confidence after which there was no stopping her!!! Thanks to Paul at Loon for the confidence boost!! We used Loon for a few days until someone suggested Cannon whilst waiting for the chair lift. I was pleased with Loon but was really impressed at Cannon. The Tuckerbrook family area was great and I really enjoyed those runs along with the Peabody lift. Georgia despite her mishap earlier in the week was doing blue runs and loving it. The whole week was fabulous and I can't wait for our little one to be ready to Ski. I would recommend New Hampshire to anyone, everyone was really friendly & there was plenty to do although I was shattered most nights and in bed early. Have you had a good holiday recently??
