i've got the flue and i've got college tomorrow. i was wondering the best ways to cure it? :(

It is said that if you go to a doctor then he can prescribe medicine which can cure your flu in a week.But if you dont then your flu will take seven days(!) to get cured.What is meant is that your body has the mechanism which can defeat the virus causing flu.But it needs time.Proper rest ,drinking lots of fluids will reduce the weakness caused by flu.But there is no magic cure for flu in just a day.
