How many of you are excited that the winter will soon be over?

Oh me, I am all excited that summer will be here soon. Indian summers are not the best of seasons to enjoy, even them I look forward to the heat, the dust, the sweat and the complete discomfort of it all. I somehow dislike winter completely…whatever little we have of it here is enough for me to yearn for my sun and my bath three or four times a day and the ice-cream tub and the cool water from the freezer and the light cotton clothes and the caress of talcum powder against my skin.

Huh?? Winter is already over here, and I am not at all excited. In fact, I am sweating all over. LOL!! Cheers and happy Mylotting

I am not excited. I do not like heat. So not looking eagerly forward to summer. It gets extremely hot out here.

Hello Bebs. I am glad to tell you that spring is here in my place already, but it is still very cold at this early spring. The temperature right now is two to seven today, still cold and it is rainy today. I am waiting for warmer spring days to come so that I can have more outside activities. You are right that we consume more electricity in winter. Now we can save more energy in spring. Keep warm, friend.

I think I'm glad that winter is about over too, I don't like being cold all the time either. While I don't like being hot either, I'd rather put up with that than freezing all the time. Yeah, I think it is the most expensive season of the year, I know my mom's gas bill is always high during the winter, and we do heat with wood, and let me tell ya after awhile it does get tiresome, I don't like getting up early in the morning to a cold house, and having to get the fire going again so it will get warm. I'm ready for spring.

today I wish for cold. We have a power cut and I left my office and am in a very hot internet cafe trying to check mail. The sweat is dripping off me. I really am hot and all their cold drinks are overpriced. Oh for some cool breeze!

Hallelujah! It is finally close to springtime! I absolutely HATE winter! It could be Spring and Summer all year as far as I am concerned. I don't like Fall so much either simply because I know that winter is around the corner. Yuk! I can't wait for spring to hit!

I do not like to wish my life away but I do not like winter. I always have lots of food in the house so I do not have to go shopping if the weather is bad. As long as I am warm inside I am happy. However I do like to go out once in awhile and I have to remove the snow from my vehicle and keep the snow off the driveway. I pay my neighbour now to snow blow my driveway as I cannot do it any more so that is a cost as well as heating the house which is expensive. I cannot wait for the weather to warm up and watch the plants and flowers grow. Then instead of complaining how cold it is, I can start complaining how hot it is.

I would join you to joy the approaching of spring. Winter is really a tough season for me too. A couple of days ago, temperature here went up over 20 degrees, but these days cold again, a lot gets cold from not putting on enough back. The spring chilly is more likely to cause physical sickness. While the nature is activating, human beings are recovering too. In chinese medication, there are some set believes to keep healthy in respective seasons. In spring, we are told to keep away from allergic causes, like some flowers. We are recommended to eat mild nutrition food to build up energy for more activities. To drink cooling beverages such as water with honey, to prevent from getting too dry. These things are shared hereby for your reference.

I personally am not a big fan of winter. In fact I pretty much hate winter and everything about it. I don't like snow, I hate being cold and since I can't drive, I hate being stuck indoors. My children are the same, it's fine when it's nice enough to play outside and make snowmen but more times than not, it's to cold to even try leaving the house. I love spring and summer. I am an outdoor kind of person, I love quading, camping and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors as long as the weather is warm enough. I am more than ready for winter to be over, I have been very unhappy stuck inside all day, I can't wait to be able to take my daughters out for long walks and to go to the parks again. It is definately a season that I will be happy to say good bye to for another year.

I am extremely excited due to the fact that we dont have to wear so many clothes. I cant wait to feel warm and have the sun out longer. Winter is a depressing time of year too. It lasts to long, or at least it seems. Theres to much darkness. I love the sun and sunlight. It motivates me, whereas winter makes you want to sleep. So yes I am excited for spring to be here!!!

Youre so lucky, here in south america the summer is ending, so everyone is sad, even the vacations are about to finish. And with the actual situation of the planet the weather is very unstable now, in fact this was the coldest summer that we ever had, I dont want to imagine how cold its going to be the winter. i am totally looking forward to spring because i dont really like the cold but i dont like the extreme heat that we get in the summer either, but i do like the spring and the fall though.

I am one of them people who cheer to it. I don't like winter as it's too cold for me. I like warm weather. I don't mind hot temperature. I love China

I am, it was a mild winter where I was so it wasn't so bad. I didn't venture out too much when it was cold, but I'm a warm weather guy. I don't like the snow and I'd rather build a sand castle than a snow man.

I'm very very very elooking forward to the spring and summer!!! I hate winter very very much, I never like winter. I can't wait :-)

Count me in bebs! i am really excited for winter to be over coz that means another season for me to discover and explore. i am after of the summer season, how's it like in the Netherlands. they said they have sunlight untill 11pm! that's one thing i want to witness and see for my eyes
