I think shes better off on her own, I used to be a black eyed peas fan before her, then they got worse with her in the group.But her new album sounds ok

Behind the Front is the name of one of the cds before her, the single from that album is "joints and jams" I liked them back then because they did a lot songs with 311(who is my fave band) but that cd came out in like 1998.

I like her better solo. She needed to get out of that 'back up singer' image and into the real spotlight. I mean I know everyone liked her in the Peas and I like the Peas too, I just think she is getting more attention now and she deserves it.

she does have a bit different sound on her own and i enjoy her both ways as well (just slightly prefer her with the band but shes just starting on her own too so well seeS) thanks +

I think when shes with the Peas she sort of gets supressed, because everyone is just so talented that she goes a bit under the radar. That said, her style complements the Peas well, and even on her solo album you still see a lot of the Peas work from will.i.am.
