What are you currently doing in order to continue to learn? I am currently enrolled in college and I feel like no one there is focused on learning, they are focused on grades, and not what it means to understand a subject, love it an appreciate what it brings into your life and your understanding of the world. I am very passionate about learning and wondering what activities other people do to expand their conciousness?

life is nothig but a process of learning. the day one stpos learning, one becomes obsolete and life becomes stagnant. everything thing that i do i do for learning. when i watch television, i try to learn things. it could be about techniques of television production or knowing about the world and cultures. while talking to people, we can learn things from them. i learn many things by reading good books and articles. there is alot o lern from internet sites like this. one comes across so many kinds of views. this broadens one's mind and perspective. one just has to be receptive, there is a lot to learn from everything one comes across.

I will graduate with my 4 yr in December and have loved every minute of my classes. I am focused on my grades but that is because I have to have good ones to keep my financial aid, without it I could not afford to go to school. I also like to read and when ever there is a reserch paper to write I choose a topic related to my field of study so that I can broden my understanding of it through other fields. I am curently taking a class that has a paper due on any topic related to science. I am doing my paper on the effects of brain reserch on the methods used in teaching. I also actually read the text books (many of my peers do not). I can't wait to graduate because that means I can start work on my masters, and learn more.

I love to learn as well! While I was in college, I was one of those people that were more interested in grades that actually learning the concepts because I had my sights set continuing my eduction in Medical School. Now that I've already been accepted into Medical School and I'm a bit older (it's been a few years since I've graduated), I really appreciate the value of a good education. I can't wait to go back to school and really learn for the sake of learning. While I am waiting for school to start this fall, I am working full time in an HIV research lab. Since I am a very science-oriented person, this type of position is perfect for me as it forces me to learn on my own. To do this I like to read journal articles/scientific papers.
