Hi friends we all know that many diseases are caused by contaminated water. So will you carry water along with you whenever you go out. For me yes I do carry a 700ml water bottle with me. I use boiled water after filtering it. I am scared if I get my health upset if I drink water outside cause we cant expect purified water every where. what about you share with me.

ya ofcourse i would definitely be carrying water with me if i am going out. but besides i would be carrying it in not a big amount say only 1lt bottle is enough. and that should be only boiled and filtered as it would not get contaminated if we boil it first before pouring it in the bottle. ya for safer side u can take some medicines so that if you consume water outside and it is not purified it should not harm your health.one more thing you can do is you can use some other soft drink instead of having water. juice is also preferable.

I always carry water bottle with me, whenever I go out of my house. I use filtered or boiled water. You also adopt the right approach, when you carry your water bottle with you. Water is very important for all of us and we must have it, as much as possible.

I bring with me a locked bottle filled with water purified by unit installed at home, and get it filled again if possible. When I go out of town, I will buy bottled water.

yes i always bring water whenever i go. because i dont drink water that is not even purified or distilled. its hard to get amoebiasis from dirty water. its such a headache and also very expensive to treat, so if i wanna save up ill just bring my own water bottle.

I do carry along with me water to drink. But i make sure it is distilled water or purified water. I don't trust in tap waters or water that comes straight into your tank because they do carry extra elements, not needed by the body, worse is the rusty particles. I do carry water specially when i do have my practice or when i go to the gym. At times i do carry Gatorade and some energy drinks with me to help me perk up the day. What i am careful of when carrying water is the cap. I surely check if the lid or cap is really closed well else it will spill in the bag. But most of the time, i don't carry water at home. I do buy it at any 7-11 stores or 24 hours shops where i can buy cold purified or mineral water and take it with me during our dance practice.

When I was in college I would always carry water would be or buy bottle water from the bookstore. But now they have filtered water where I work so I don't usually carry one with me. Now when I go anywhere else, like a persons house or the mall, I will carry my own bottle with me. I am so used to bottled water that I just am not willing to go back to tap water. Everyone tells me that I am over reacting. Oh well!

No, I don’t carry water with my everywhere except for long distance journey which can take upto 4 or 5 hours. For usual journey, I don’t carry water with me, I depend on my body’s immunity and so far it has not let me down.

Hi Chaitra, Yes, I do the same. I carry water bottles when I am going out especially with kids because we can't imagine when they ask water sometimes in the midst of the road so better if keep some water with me(lol). I made this habit after the birth of my elder son. I am also using boiled water. We can't trust the water we get from outside. So for a better health use the healthy water only.

I don't carry water with me, but i buy mineral water to drink everyday because of many diseases which are caused by contaminated water. I don't have time to boil water thats why i buy water. Even at work i do not drink water directly from the tap, i buy.I spend money on buying mineral water just to make sure that i do not get ill.

At home I use a filter to drink water as I believe that the water is good ... but when I travel, it is usually depends on the place I'm going to. If the water there is something that make me afraid of drinking, so of course I'll buy bottles of water. I would like to remind all MyLotters when you finish the bottle please make sure you crash it (if it's plastic) and throw it in the proper recycle bin.

Yes, it is true that many diseases are caused by water particularly in countries like India and many other tropical countries. You should also avoid raw food like salad since they too may carry disease causing germs. As a medical doctor I advise this to all my patients who have a frequent stomach upset.
