The Wheel of Life

I think one of the most important lessons a Pagan can learn is their connection with the rythms of life. Our life cycles reflect the cycles in Nature, and the cycles in Nature reflect the cycles in the Universe. In this way we are cultivating realization of our interconnectivity with all things, and thus simultaneously cultivating compassion towards all things. When we know that our true will is one with the Will of the Universe, then the Love of the Universe can flow freely through us into all things. Thus, by cultivating our connection with the Universe, we are practicing the art of Self-Realization; the realization that we are one with the Divine and that this moment, the Here and Now, is enlightenment. Meditate on this as you celebrate the Wheel of Life, and may you all blessed be!

I couldn't have said it better or as eloquently as you have posted it. I notice that all of my mundane workings follow the cycle of the wheel of life. My most prosperous working moments are during the Ostara through the Samhain. The Yule through the Imbolc are very quiet and restful. I find that for me, a woman, my week to week life flows with the esbats. I actually have my mensus during the same time the moon is restoring herself. In this I feel very connected with the Goddess.

Thanks for responding. This is very insightful, and it shows that you are really trying to learn about yourself through investigating the synchronicities between your own life cycles and those of Nature.
