My fiance and I are still planning our wedding but are going the frugal and diy route to save money as well as to make it personal. We have already got a good idea on a lot of things, such as decorations. The decorations are going to be his mom's fall decorations so that we don't have to worry about that. We know pretty much what we are serving, and that it's not going to be a catered event at all. We've got my apparel picked out as well as his and the groomsmen, we know what shirts we're going to have for the girls as well! lol!

oh yes, luckily we haven't gotten to the stress of planning yet! We've planned a bit, and we've got the outline but the most stressful might just be the invitations! I appreciate the advice!

We are getting married in May and we've actually been saving since we bought our house a little over three years ago, we just didn't know we were saving for our wedding. We started a vacation fund in the same account our mortgage came out of and we each put in the same amount of money every month. We are planning to get married in Vegas with just a few friends; nothing fancy, no dress or tux or anything like that. Since this isn't really a wedding there wont be any wedding expenses, just the $55 for a marriage license and the ceremony will probably be less than $200. We have lots of money saved up in our vacation fund for the trip so it looks like we'll get to do everything we want to do while we're there.

Right now I am saving for my wedding. I am not sure when it would be, but I am saving it. My boyfriend and I know we are getting married. I don't want a really big wedding or anything, something small just a few friends and family and a little party afterwards. But we are trying to save now for it plus a house and what not. There is a lot that goes into getting married.
