I purcased the sims 2 for my laptop recently. I can only do limited things on it and It will only let me play for a certain amount of time. I still have not been able to play Rileys story or create a family. I am a big fan of the sims. I have it for my ps2 also. I just wish that I was able to play on my laptop. Does anyone know what I should do? Have you had the same experience?

Well, playing Sims 2 on a Laptop is one issue, and playing on Vista is also another, but both together means a LOT of memory hogging from Vista. Make sure that you have enough RAM, aka Memory and space on the laptop so you can play. Also, are you sure that your laptop isn't just losing its battery power or isn't plugged in right? It might be something to do with your actual laptop, video card, etc. I would suggest going to the sims 2 site at Thesims2.com , and checking the required specs for the game/expansion you purchased.
