Hi,
If u have a limited budget while buying a laptop, which one would u give more priority- a powerful cpu or a powerful graphics card. I want to know which factor decides computer speed more. Like for a smooth running of pc games in my computer what should i prefer first. will a pentium 1.5GHz dual core processor and nvidia 8600GT(256mb) be enough to run modern pc games smoothly? or sud i choose a 2Ghz processor and 8600GS(128mb) gpu? which one will be better?

For PC games, graphic card is very important. The difference in processor speed you are thinking about is not much as far as gaming is concerned. My advice would be that you should go in for 512MB graphics card because some the latest games are run on 512 card only.

Some 3D games could not played without having proper graphic card.Give first preference to the mother board chipset with AGP slot facility.Better to maintain minimum 1gb ram with 800mhz bus speed.Use appropriate os like xp or vista for better performance.
