Do you have a certain video game that you own, that you love to play over and over? Have you ever gotten to the point where you know everything about it, inside and out? I have more than a few games like that, some I have even played online. I finally decided to start this discussion when I realized a shocing fact: I am the only female gamer that I know! Odd I know. So it made me questions something: How many of you out there are girl gamers? Do you know any girl gamers? Do they know any girl gamers? I'm sure that you see where this is going, I want your girl gamer stories. Looking forward to hearing from you all, happy mylotting.

i have a few games that i know inside and out, like Starfox Adventures, Starfox Assault, Final Fantasy 7 and 8, Dynasty Worriors 3,4,5,3xl,4xl,4empires,5xl, and 5 empires. the thing with the dynasty worriors games is that for the first few, your data transfers over, but the storylines for all these games are the same. other games are final fantasy tactics for the ps1 and psp, Suikoden 1 for the ps1, and Zelda Twilight Princess. i know, thats a ton of games to play over and over again, with each one i've logged 70+ hours on, but hey, it keeps me out of trouble. as for your girl question, i am a male, but i know quite a few female gamers who like stuff like rpgs, zombies and rock band. you are not alone, i assure you

You've hit pay dirt! :) I have been playing video games for thirty years. I am 55 years young. When my daughter was in high school, we always had our house packed with gamers. My husband bought us a 61" TV for the main floor and we had Nintendo systems set up all over the house. My daughter can beat most any guy at a game. She loves the competition. Of late, I have enjoyed the old Roller Coaster Tycoon. It was a big mistake for me to get Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. You have to pry the controller out of my hands. We spend many evenings as a family playing video games. When I married my husband, he was running video arcades. After the "I do" I got to play the games for free. He would have competitions at the arcade to "beat the boss." He and my daughter are some of the few people that I have not been able to beat over the years. My daughter plays more on line games. I enjoy Game Cube games and am saving for a Wii. I have a game boy, gameboy advance, Nintendo DS (love to play Mario Kart on line, haven't found anyone for animal crossing yet). We have all the Nintendo consoles from the beginning with games. My daughter has other brands like sony but won't share. I can't tell you how many evenings we have had competitions with Monkey Ball, Perfect Dark, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Simpson's Road Rage, Mario Party (three versions), etc. The drawers are full. I drive everyone crazy with bomberman. My daughter loves Zelda games and Paper Mario. F-Zero is fun. I love Mario Kart because when I win. My comment is always, "Are you gonna let an old lady beat you?" The guys usually can't stand that and we play another round. It's great. I think I'm the only mom around who asked for a Nintendo DS for my birthday and told my husband not to come home unless he had a Nintendo DS for my birthday. I haven't demanded a gift in thirty years but this was important.
