I've recently been inspired by a show called Jamie's Ministry of food. The principle basically was to try and get one person to teach 10 people a recipe. In turn the 10 would each teach another set of 10 and so on. I know very few people spend time cooking because of time constraints but I really honestly believe that it's still possible so let's try it out. I'll give out one of my favorite quick recipes and you do the same. Mashed or smashed Ingredients: 5 large potatoes 500 ml of cream (yep cream not milk) Salt and pepper 1 stick of butter (that's about 200grams. This can be changed to margarine) Basil - optional If you have a pressure cooker this could save you time but if not you can use a regular pot. Boil the potatoes until you can push a fork completely through the middle. Strain the water, then with a large spoon, masher or even a fork, start to mash the potatoes. The consistency is really up to you. You can mash them and make them really fine, or, smash them and leave chunks. Pour in the cream, mix and then add the butter. While you're mixing add salt and pepper. The cream should be enough but you can add more butter depending on your taste. Serve it hot. The recipe is good for 4 people.
