I would so love the money to redecorate, however with the uncertainty of the world today I am trying to save money not spend it. I try to do something new in the house every month, but nothing really expensive. I wish that I were a bit more creative, I would love to recover my couch but can't even find fabric that I love, much less figure our how to do it.

I plan to make all my own curtains, and chair pads but like playapal I have to wait till we have enough money to buy all the fabric . We have 13 windows in our little house to cover ! As far as other decorating I do oil painting and do crafts and use my own paintings and crafts to decorate my home. If I buy anything decorative , I buy it cheap and fix it up to make it decorative myself .

I usually slowly buy everything. It all ends up happening in the end sometimes it takes longer then other times, but it all gets their. We have had some really hard times lately but we got a new bed and new bed frame, was able to do my son's whole room for his birthday. It's a matter of resources.

When I get in my mind that I want a room redecorated, money doesn't stop me. I can always find a way. Last fall I decided to redecorate my living room. New furniture, flat screen tv, new window dressings...the whole deal. I financed the furniture with 0% interest. It will be paid in full by next month. I found some free lamps on freecycle and painted the shades. It looks so nice.

I really have no talent for making things. So I don't do alot of redecorating. But if I absolutely have a need I look for clearance sales. I have found some fabulous deals online!
