If you have not got your Blood Pressure checked so far, and you are over 40 then it is high time you got it checked. Sometimes you may not realize that your BP is high, and you may not feel any signs of strain too, but it can be very harmful if it stays constantly high. It leads to enlragment of the heart and once the muscles of the heart start weakening, and the requirement of blood increases due to the enlarged state of the heart, it can lead to heart ailments. Meet your doctor and get your BP checked at once. If it is high, take medicines to bring it under control and regulate your life style.

I'm still too young to worry about that. I do agree though, it is necessary at such an age to perform blood tests. My parents perform them every day or 2. So yea, I got to agree they are a necessity. :)
