I love watching weight loss shows because I feel like I can get some inside to how people do it. I have tried all different types of diets including low calorie, atkins, food diarys, south beach, etc. If its a "fad" diet I've tried it. If some celeb said jump, I jumped (minus the nutrisystem diet which is pricey). I buy the books, I read the magazines, I even buy the workout videos. I am curious to know how they do it on the show Biggest Loser. I know these people are working out all the time (which is unrealistic for the average working person) but what type of diet are they doing? I know they aren't eating subway EVERYDAY... I'm not looking into losing a lot of weight but I would like to drop a good 15/20 lbs. Does anyone have an successful weight loss solutions or tips? If you know the secret to the show I would love to hear it!!! I know that "dieting" is a lifestyle change and I am prepared to make one with the right knowledge of how...

The only secret I have found which was 3 years ago and 105 pounds ago was excercise and self control. I joined weight watchers 3 years ago which I would sum up as simply a low-fat diet. The key to it all, as it is in anything else in life, is the desire to lose weight and how bad you want it. I can tell you now that I have lost 105 pounds which I have. But that wasn't something that happened over night or in a months time. It is a life style change. And over the years I have become tired and left the lifestyle again temporarily only to see my hard work fading fast and weight going back on. Lifestyle change means permanent and I think a lot of people are decieved into thinking losing weight is a temporary suffering you go through and then it is all over with. Well that might work for 10 pounds or so but not for serious weight loss. Start making healthy choices in you diet and avoiding a lot of high fat foods. Don't deprive yourself of something that you really want. Just cut the portion size down. And get plenty of excercise. It will get easier wih time and eventually become a lifestyle for you. Good Luck on your journey and I wish you all the best!

According to my experience, if I made weight loss on purpose, I always get the opposite effect. I think falling in love is the best way to loss my weight and also help me keep it. How about you? Maybe we are different in such issue. Keep your life in order and work hard or study hard, eat more vegetables and fruits instead of meat and candies. These measures may be effective for your weight and your health. Good luck!
