What to do in Shenzhen and Shanghai

I am thrilled to find this interests group and wondering if there is way to get more Chinese friends joining mylot. I am traveling back to China in June and will visit Shenzhen and Shanghai, any fun acitivity in these two cities? Thanks

nanjing road, chenghuang temple, xintiandi are the most popular places for shopping and entertaining.

sorry to mention that these three places are in shanghai. i thought you know china very well. when i want to travel to another country and find information about it, i found it needs a long time to bear in mind the cities' name, for there so many.haha~~~

I also hope that more and more Chinese could join mylot to improve English and share opinions with each other. But it seems that few people in China know this website. Nowadays large cities in China such as Shanghai and Shenzhen are very prosperous. Even if it's ten o'clock at night, the commercial streets are still crowded. But to a large extent they follow the same pattern so that they lose their characteristics.

There are a lot of interesting activities in Shanghai. Also June is a very good time in a year. I suggest you go to visit the Oriental Green Boat. There are lots of Summer Programs to go. Also some other local social activities happen timely. I am sure you could have a very good time back to China.

Just as solemn said, you can visit"Windows of the World" to see miniature world landmarks. If you like amusement parks, you can go to"Happy Valley." If shopping is your type, you could go to some areas in Futian and Luohu districts. Business centers and industry parks are usually in Futian and Sha Tin Districts. If you want entertainment,night life and good western food, go to shekou. They have Bar Street and good places for Western food. Enjoy your trip.

In fact,these cities are not with chinese charactaristics.And the same Morder cities. If you want too have a fun,you'd better visit Beijing ,Xi'an or the other cites that has a long acient history. Good Journey!
