5000 in grants ,wow is this true????

i received a call today and they said they were going to give me 5000 in grants money .did anybody else receive those calls?? really strange..share your experience.wander where they got my number from .they said everybody is receiving the call .it freaked my parents out...

Hey,
Well if you KNOW that you didn't sign up on a website or anything like that, and you have no idea how, then it is a scam. Just don't bother listening to them, hang up or say that it is a wrong number. I have never had anybody actually call my home number in my life, but I have had some 'work from home' letters come in and my parents asked me some questions, but I HAD to deny all of them or they would TOTALLY cut me from all Internet usage and probably even take my computer away from me.
My advice, don't listen to them unless you know how you won that money or whatever. If you know that you signed up on a website or something similar, then it is ok. If you didn't , most probably they sold your information to other companies. Hope this helps, happy Lotting!
