To make our hair grow faster so that we can change our hairstyle more often, we can follow this : 1. Check our overall health and lifestyle. How is our diet? Do we exercise and sleep enough? under a large amount of stress? If our body is lacking in health, our hair will be lacking as well. Hair consists of protein so be sure that we are getting enough. Nuts, poultry, vegetables, fruits, grains, eggs, etc. all contribute to hair health. 2. If necessary consider taking a daily vitamin supplement. 3. Stimulate blood flow to our scalp. massage our scalp all over for about 5 minutes. 4. Do not over brush our hair and NEVER use a bristled brush, as this will tear and damage our hair. 5. Do not over wash hair. The oils that our scalp produces can be beneficial to the health of hair. Shampooing everyday may be necessary for oily hair, but normal hair can get by with shampooing about 2-4 times a week, and dry hair about 1-2 a week. 6. Avoid excessively hot water as well as blow dryers and curling irons.

How interesting to read this topic! Thanks! In addition to all you have mentioned, I have tried a product which helps to make hair longer. I use it especially when I have a strange hair cut and can't wait for my hair to get longer. It's Lush New Hair Shampoo bar. Control diet is goo for hair . Reduce stress & tensions for good hair growth . Another important one is to avoid the use of excessively hot water .

Faster hair growth......... Those are some pretty good tips. But the normal head of hair grows about half inch to an inch per month. So there is really nothing that you can do to get it to grow any faster. Other than perhaps taking certain vitamins and stimulating the scalp. That's about it. Some people just have slow growing hair anyway or so it seems, depending upon the amount of natural curl they have. Happy mylot!

I agree with much of what I read here, however everyone is different, so here's my two cents worth... As far as diet goes, I'm probably the unhealthiest eater on the face of the earth. I eat too much fast food and am a junk food junkie, but it doesn't seem to effect my hair which is extremely thick, so that can be hit or miss depending on the person. I also don't take vitamins as I hate taking anything unless I absolutely have too, and the only time my scalp is massaged is when I am washing my hair. I never use a brush, but mostly because I have think curly hair which is prone to frizzing, so I stick to using a wide tooth comb, which also helps to keep the hair from breaking. As far as showering goes, I do tend to straighten my hair on a daily basis with a flat iron, so I only wash my hair about once or twice a week depending on what I've been doing, otherwise I tend to shower with a shower-cap on. When I do use the flat iron through, I always put a little bit of leave in conditioner on my hair, and I always use a little detangler to help me comb it out as well. Primarily I notice that my hair actually grows faster the more frequently that I get it cut. So I tend to get the tips trimmed about every six weeks and the woman who does my hair just freaks at how fast it grows (she teases me about using Weed and Feed LMAO). But again, everyone's makeup is different so this may not work for everyone, but I stick to getting my hair trimmed as often as possible and not waiting until the ends are dry and damaged, which leaves my hair a lot healthier and keeps it growing much faster.
