when you can't find something have you noticed that at the beggining you look for it in sensible places, but as time progresses you can't find it, and you start looking in the starnges places. i know i've done that. where do you look when you can't find things??

I usually end up looking everywhere, behind things, under things, sometimes even OVER things. But, you know what? Whatever it is that you're looking for, it's always in the very last place you look. (That's because, if you kept looking, you'd be an idiot. LOL It's a joke... just to make sure you know that. ) I've found things in the weirdest places, too. "How the heck did it ever get THERE???" Oh, I've said that so many times! One thing I do like about losing something and trying to find it... I tend to get my house REALLY cleaned up while doing it! I'll straighten things, file piles of paperwork that I've allowed to accumulate, dust behind things that I didn't notice needing dusting before, etc. So, whether I find that lost thing or not, my house is always cleaner!

I would look in my drawer next to the bed, but I have been known to be talking and be in the kitchen and then put the wrong thing in the fridge. So I would look there also. Yes I am very whats the word absent minded.....

I look in the freezer. We actually found my mom's keys there once and now it is the running joke and last resort place to look for things.
