is love required to be shown?

we share a thousand relations in a day with a thousand people... a son.. a father.. a brother.. a businessman... a professional... a friend... out of all those few ones are really special and close to the heart... i believe that if u love somebody and if someone is really so important in your life that it is hard to imagine our life without them... go ahead and tell this to them... tell them how important they are for u before it is too late... but why dont all the people feel the same... a few believe... love is to be felt... not to be shown... is it actually not required to show somebody whether u love or care until or unless he is passing through a real tough time and needs ur care to be 'bestowed upon!'... cant we just be saying that normally.... why do we have to wait for any such situation.... is it like that if we r saying anything like that normally... it sounds like boasting...
