what is organic food ????

It is food as it used to be. Before about 100 years ago, all food was organic. I am have been researching organic farming for a while now. In order to be an organic farmer one must become certified and inspected by the government. Food grown free of any chemicals. Food only grown from organic seed. If any fertilizers are used, they must also be organic. As far as food labeling goes, the FDA in its wisdom provides the following legal guidelines. Say you buy a box of cereal for example. If it says "organic" on the box, only 70% of the contents need to be organic. If it says USDA approved organic, only 90% of the contents need to be organic. Only a box that says 100% organic, is truly 100% organic.
