how do you balance your work between making extra money ?

If you have a job ,but you still want to make extra money,how do you balance between the two things??Doing it will affect your work or health?

I only use the make extra money sites druing spare time at work, when it's quiet... or in spare time at home...
I do not feel the need to put in extra time as it's just a hobby and still mange to make payout on the sites I use.
