Benefits of getting a Best Response???

Hey all, Just wandering what happens if someone gives you best response? I have yet to have this happen, that's why I'm asking. Do you get a higher pay per post? Does it increase your status/rep? Or is just an Ego boost? Maybe a little from column A...a little from column B?? Anyway do you always give best responses to your discussions? How long do you usually wait to do so?

It really just means that out of all the responses in the discussion, yours is the best one that was received. That's all. Apart from the fact that you do earn a couple of cents from getting a best response, which is great. I guess having best responses makes it look like you are contributing to mylot as you are taking time and quality into the posts that you are making. I have over 2 pages of best responses, and am proud of it. However, I didn't get them when I first started, they just seem to be rushing in now! All the best. xx

It helps in the star rating since the poster that gives you the BR will most likely hit the (+) button. Also, to encourage members to post quality discussions or responses. As to earnings? Nothing really.

I have always assumed that it would add to your earnings if someone chose your response as the best one in the group. I know all of your best responses are posted on your profile page, like a badge of honour. Have you checked the FAQ's at the bottom of the page? Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not absolutely sure. But it would make sense to me if we got more earnings out of it. I mean, we don't earn alot here, but every cent counts, right?
