One thing I don't understand is why the media chose to wait until a celebrity couple experienced domestic violence before giving coverage to this issue. I feel that the media should have started covering domestic violence a very long time ago. Waiting until a pretty young celeb is a victim to bring out the experts just says that the media doesn't care about anything unless someone famous is affected. That's a shame and it's an issue that needs to be addressed.

Yes, I was surprised to see someone so young be involved in domestic violence. Apparently there is a history in his family. That doesn't make it right. Also there seems to be a bit of a history in their relationship if you believe what he is said to have said to her in the car. If that is the case, she must have some insecurities for her to take him back. He will do it again if he doesn't get help.

i don't like violence either and if i was in her shoes i wouldn't stay with him.i would also testify against him, but you also have to remember she got a bit of stardom from him and his career is also on the line(like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie).so i think she will stay with him maybe for love but who knows.

I think this is such an incredibly sad situation. I did not want to believe it at first but now I'm pretty sure that it's true. I loved Chris Brown before this but now I really dont think that I can deal with him. What is really scary is that he is just 19. If he doesnt get help with his anger problems then they could just get worse and worse until something really bad happens. Prayers with both of them.
