Are there any UK pay to click or write sites?

I am on many Brit sites which pay in Pounds but when the pay comes in our Paypal account it's in US$. There sites like wikinut, mp5 etc who do pay regularly but their work is limited in sense of pay. They are not as good as some other similar site form other counties.

The only site I know that pays in British pounds is My Home Pages Friends, but it is months behind with payments. I've been waiting since September! I only join sites that use PayPal. I can simply convert dollars into pounds in my PayPal account, then transfer the whole amount into my UK bank account with no further charges, (there is a 25p fee to pay if it's less than £50). The US dollar is the standard currency for the Internet. Most British sites will pay in dollars, because international users understand the value of the dollar and can pay or get paid in dollars using PayPal. It would be too complex to use different currencies. Earning in dollars means you can have multiple sources of income from various sites, and that is the best way to make money on the internet.

There are many writing sites I use that pay in dollars but when it reaches your paypal account it is actually converted to pounds, and with the current exchange rate we are getting more pounds towards the dollar. I use sites such as helium, bukisa, triond and associated content. So far helium is my favourite site as it pays upfront payments when you have a writing and rating star.
