does anybody else love scrapbooking?

having two kids im totally addicted to scrapbooking, i find its a good creative outlet for me, and gives me something to do with the ridiculous amount of pictures i take of my kids

I have not gotten into this, but I am going to start my first scrapbook soon. Back in 2003 we went to Disney and I am going ot do a Scrapbook for that for a "practice" book. Yes, I know it should have been done alreayd but I just finished organizing all my pictures from 1998-2005 last weekend. I am getting married in December and I will do a scrapbook for that as well.

I am behind as well my son is 1 and a half and i am just starting his baby-book, just got my 3 year old daughters baby-book done, i am also doing a book every year as a family book and behind on those but i dont worry to much its not about sticking to a timeline, its about having fun with a hobby you enjoy. they have some great disney papers available as well, thanks for response

I used to do a lot of scrapbooking. I loved it at the time, but over the past few years I've sort of drifted away from it and gotten snowed under by pictures of my grandchildren. It's a great hobby, but I believe I liked it better back when I first started. Then we designed and made our entire pages from scratch. Now all you have to do is buy some pieces or kits from the store and glue them down. Somehow that loses something for me.

i agree im pretty much into the old school style, but i dont like some of the new items like die cut machines just because they save money in the long run on stickers and stuff, right now im trying to really use my handwriting to make it more personal instead of using the computer for journaling, thanks for the response
