The sister Missionaries came for dinner last night and had a great lesson for my kids. First they showed a picture of Jesus teaching the people in Jerusalem, then a picture of him teaching the Nephites. Then she showed them a bible and a book of Mormon and had them tell which one went with which picture. Finally, they pulled out coloring pages of the globe, one globe showed the americas and the other showed the "old world". and she let them color for a while and told them that Jesus taught in jerusalem, which is right here, (and pointed to a dot on the map). And those stories are told in the bible, and she read a parable from the new testament. Then she said, Jesus taught the Nephites somewhere around here (and pointed to south america) and those stories are told in the Book of Mormon, and she read a story from the Book of Mormon. I think this would make a great Family Home Evening, just add a song, a snack, and a prayer. My kids loved it, and it teaches them that Jesus really can be with us wherever we go.

One of the greatest book I ever read is the Book of Mormon. I learn about the principles and ordinances of the gospel. The priesthood power and authority. The plan of salvation and many other things pertaining righteousness. I know the Book of Mormon is a word of God.
