When you run into a girlstudent who is smoking, what will you do ?

One day, I ran into a girlstudent who was somking in the toilet. I was very surprised. She is good at study. And she is likely to go to university.Then I told her not to smoke,because it is bad for her health and study. And she promise not to do it in the future. But a few days later, I met her again, she still smoked. I were very angery. If I tell headmaster the fact, she will be dropped out. What you will do in this case ?

I would mind my own business. I agree that smoking is bad for your health, but it is not up to me to tell someone what they can and can't do. (unless it is my kids) As far as telling the headmaster, think about this. How would you feel if someone told on you? Is the fact that she is smoking personally hurting you? Or is there another reason behind all of this? I think you should probably leave this girl alone and concentrate on your own studies.

Its likely for me to keep it a secret.Or I may give her my warning the first time I saw her smoke.Talk to her if possible and find out why she smokes.I guess she's already an adult to some extent,perhaps I'll just let her be herself.

I wouldn't really meddle. It's her life, her decisions, her wants, her habits, and whatsoever. I won't tell the headmaster because it isn't really my business what the girl does in her life. Maybe I'll just warn her that she can get kicked out of school with what she is doing, if I really care. But anyway, it's really up to the person. This situation isn't in your hands.
