How can we stop terrorism?

The Srilankan cricketers were attacked quite blatantly and these are high profile sportsmen who deserved a fool proof security. Terrorists have grown more blatant and bold. This is a major issue that threatens the world. What do you think has to be done in order to put an end to this menace?

I personally think that as long as humans are alive, violence will never die out , so is the terrorism. Actually they are against the government in a way.
