When you have a headache, stomachache, toothache, muscle pains, colds, fatigue, fever or whatever what do you do? Do you immediately resort to taking pain reliever,or other medicine to stop the pains? Are you a drug dependent for relieving pains and sickness? Or do you try the natural healing remedies we ordinarily use before like putting ice on your toothache or headache? Do you apply massage for soothing muscle pains? Do you believe that our own body has its own healing process?

well, the body has its own healing process, but some medicines do help in giving relief. till the time the the pain is bearable one must not go in for medicines. sometimes such pains are due to fatigue and stress. in that case, one must rest for sometime and if possible take a small nap. if the pain is due to lack of sleep or fatigue then the pain would vanish. if the pain or ache is excessive the painkiller is advised. if the pain persits and keeps coming back even after the pain killer then one must take the advise of a physician.

Stomach aches I usually ride out without any meds, usually it is gas or indigestion. I have had chest pains for about 2 weeks or so, I think I pulled a muscle lifting residents where I work. For that I do take 800 mg Motrin.

Our bodies are designed to heal themselves when they are taken care of properly. Unfortunately, most of us don't. I always try home remedies first and seldom take anything stronger than an aspirin.

I don't like taking medications if I can at all avoid them, so my first approach when not feeling well is to get rest. I don't mind trying home remedies, there have been many out there that have helped me with different things. I feel like home remedies are much safer than over-the-counter and prescription medications, and have been working for people for many many years.

If it's a really bad pain then I'll take something for it since natural remedies aren't all that effective on severe pain, you need something that's made for the job. I don't tend to take medication for colds but I'll take vitamin C or Zinc. There's no point depending on medications because they get less effective if you take too many. If you take too much medication for something like headaches then this can give you even more headaches. If you've got some kind of pain then it's always worth finding out for sure what's causing it and then take the decision about natural alternatives from there. TENS machines are great for relieving pain without the need for medication.

I try to have a good sleep, when I wake up, the pain will release. I do apply massage sometimes, it really helps. If these have no effect, then I try home remedies.

whenever i am not well i would first try to rest and try the home remedies and then too if i am not able to get rid of it then i use medicines, i am just talking about the slight fever or some kind of pains and cold but if it is more than this i would rush to a doctor and take the consultation and follow the prescription given and take the medicines accordingly.
