Do you like the current announce style of WWE announcers?

The way they don't call out the manuevers being used. I know they're just doing what Vince tells them to do, but it's kind of annoying. For example: Jerry Lawler: Oh! Look at that move that Vladimir Kozlov is applying to Shawn Michaels back! Me: *sigh* It's called a torture rack. Made famous by Lex Luger! Michael Cole: Devastating overhead throw! Me: It's an overhead belly to belly suplex! Also, last night Jerry Lawler said something like "this is the biggest announcement on Raw that I personally have ever made! It's going to be John Cena vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship!" Seriously?! That's the biggest announcement Jerry Lawler has ever made? John Cena and Edge are stars, but they're not larger than life. Now, if it was announced that Hulk Hogan was wrestling Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania, that'd be a different story.

I agree about Lawler on monday. I dont think was even close to being the biggest announcment ever on raw. Lawler is better as a heel. I liked Cole and Tazz as a paring. I realy don't like Lawler and Cole together. I think that is mostly because I always think of Lawler and JR as a team. Cole and him aren't bad together but I started watching WWE(or WWF back then)in the 90's so for me it as always been JR and the King.

Yeah, that was a bit of an exaggeration for a huge announcement. Lawler and Cole have worked together before Cole was drafted to Raw. If I remember right, Cole and Lawler were the announcers for Wrestlemania 15. Also, during the early days of Smackdown, they teamed up.

I like it when they call out the moves, but overall sometimes the announcers are just annoying. And then you have people like King who are there mainly to be funny and add some 'entertainment' I like J.R. and Joey Styles they always kept us up to date on feuds and rivalries

I liked King best when he was a heel announcer. Now, he pretty much agrees with Cole on just about everything. That's one thing I feel is desperately needed in WWE: heel announcers. Joey Styles had to change his style (no pun intended) when he came to WWE. In the original ECW, he called out the moves.
