Home minister P Chindaram has said that BCCI should consider of postponing the IPL because of the latest threat on cricket, culminating with the attack on the Srilankan Team. Home minister was quoted as the availability of security forces would be hard to get seeing the general election. However, the postponement will eventually lead to the dimantlement of this year IPL, since there is no free slot available after May. This will be in effect what the terrorists want. Should it be allowed?

Hello! The IPL fixture falls during the election all over India and it is sure that the government machinery would be busy in maintaining law and situations of the country and the local police staff would be busy in election works. As such government would not be in a position to provide security to the players. In such situation the BCCI should reschedule its IPL programmes and team Indias programme abroad. It is essential.thanx.

I would say in context of Lok Sabha Election it should be made on alternate dates so that adequate security can be provided to cricketers so that no unwanted episode like Pakistan attack happens. We have to see from perspective of real stage.
