Can you keep calm before marrige?

Hello all.
My younger sister married not long before,Bur they divorced shortly.I ask her why.She says she did not know much about the boy before marrige.She is 29 years old and is becoming older and older.Many people disscuss her,they say she is unmarriable or she is fastidious.She gets anxious and married in a hurry.After marriage she found she know little about the boy and they are hard to live together.
My quertion is can you keep calm before marrige,ignore what people disscuss?

it is happen ,that's why i wanna tell u that we must give some time to girl and boy to know each other.

I am 27 years old and my husband is 62. A lot of people thought our marriage wouln't work either (did I mention he was divorced a few times before, and I've never been married?) but we proved them all wrong. How a marriage will work out depends totally on the individuals, and people need to stay out of the couple's business. Even though those people may be right sometimes, they need to keep their mouths shut.
