eat? Do you still grab or even cook something? What would you grab or cook if your answer is YES.

Most definitely yes! Depending on my mood and what is available I would have anything from chocolate, milk, honey toast, chips, banana. Possibly even a sandwich or left over dinner. Does your cooking site have any quick and easy yet terribly yummy snacks?

I agree with LouRhi ! all those things sound good . I would eat them at midnight , no problem.. Thankfully I don't have a weight problem and I can get away with it, hehe .. My favorite thing to eat at night is .. ICE CREAM !!! with chocolate and carmel syrup !! I love it !

lol thanks, nice to know I am not the only one that likes a midnight snack. Add the ice-cream and sauce to my list as well!

*laughs* Actually in the snack category, they require a certain degree of cooking but they all are delicious *laughs*. But I think the burger and sandwich category could be convenient *smiles*: http://icookeverything.com/index.php?option=com_facileforms&ff_name=ReviewList&Itemid=-1&ff_param_section=5&ff_param_cat=83&ff_param_limit=10&ff_param_order=SubmissionDateNew Now I am getting hungry just by browsing through the website! *laughs*

i used to just eat as and when i'm hungry. but now, if i'm hungry and it's time for me to hit the sacks. i would just starve and go to bed. it's either that, or i'd grab a fruit to munch on and then head to bed. this way it won't hamper my diet.

i believe that you have a better way of addressing your night hunger pangs, regal aeros. yes, it would not hurt if you will just hit the sacks. after all, there's no need for any fuel to charge one up in order to get to sleep. actually, it is the other way around. as for taking a fruit if the hunger pang cannot be cast away with a no, that is a wise move, too. dieticians will always tell us that high fiber fruits has negative calories.

Hello wondericequeen, I just grabbed something to eat when I found your discussion. It is 12.05 am here and I just ate a slice of chocolate cake. Wow! It's fattening but yes, I like it very much! If I do feel hungry or when I can hear my stomach growls, I will definitely look for something to eat - light or heavy food. Don't care much about the time!

Hello,Queen! It is my habit,I eat something light food before going to bed.It may be biscuits and milk or an apple.Without eating something I just can't sleep.moreover in the next day I never eat anything till lunch except tea and some soup.So it is essential for me to eat before going to bed.thanx.

I do this all of the time. In fact, last night at midnight I cokked up some Singapore curried chicken and noodles. I usually don't make a large meal at that time of night, but I was really hungry last night.

I prefer to grab something in the ref more than to cook since most of the time, me and hubby sleep very late or should i say early morning because of his job, well we do tend to eat our snack before watching a movie. Most of the time we have a ready chips to eat, sometimes we do like to eat fruits that is inside the ref. I also make fruit salad or macaroni salad and serve it to him and we will eat it during our time to watch. We do have a stock of cookies and aside from that we have cashew nuts and peanuts to chew. Sometimes hubby would buy a chana and we eat it as snack, a chana is an organic food here, it looks like it is a chickpea but dried.

Yes, I will definitely grab something. Most likely it would be an apple. I always stock apple in the ref. We have a small refrigerator in our room. So when I fell the hunger at an unholy hour, the first thing I will grab is the apple. I usually pair it with tomato juice. I never allow my refrigerator to be out of stock with these two items.

hello wondericequeen lol and yes, i have even cooked something that late at night before but nothing major. lol but that late at night especially if i was fixing to go to bed, then i would rather grab something than have to cook something. lol but i have done both before. these days there are so many different things readily available to just grab or even warm up in the microwave oven. or even microwave popcorn is a delicious snack. when that my kitchen is stocked up good with groceries, i sure have a tough time trying to decide on what that i want to snack on. lol but i always just choose one snack when that i feel that i need something light before that i go to bed for the night. i do not like eating a big meal and going right to bed after that i eat. take care and have a beautiful evening.

Most of the times I just ignore my hunger because I am dying to go to bed everynight. I finish my day between 11:30-12:30am every single day...can you blame me if I just ignore hunger? lol! If ever I decide to get up and go to the kitchen I just grab an ice cream (Nestle drumstick) and a glass of water.

Yes. I have to eat (preferably) every few hours, or my blood sugar will dip too low, so I always make sure to eat before I go to sleep. If I don't, I won't be able to sleep anyway, because I'll get too sick, and will have to get up and eat later on. So, if I have any leftovers in the fridge, I'll eat that. I like to have meat for a snack... sounds more like a meal, but I don't eat a lot, so it's a snack. If I don't have any leftovers, I'll get some cereal. I'll mix sugary cereal with shredded wheat... so it's not too much sugar. Sometimes, if I'm sure I won't wake anyone up, I'll heat up some microwave soup. Quick enough to get before bed, nice and warm, and not too filling :)
