http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2009/03/03/lizard-imitate-females.html (Not a referral!) These lizards imitate the females so their macho brethren don't beat them up. Isn't that a nifty idea? These youngsters do this to avoid fights, and be able to get a little action. Have you seen humans do this? I have. Knew a guy that everybody swore was gay. He played it up big time. His plan was, the girls wanted to 'change' him, so he always had lots of girls. They wanted to be the one to turn him the right way. He used this tactic to make himself more attractive to the ladies. It worked!! How about you? Any interesting tidbits to share? About humans or animals, or how similar they can be?

That tactic works both ways. Men are always trying to change gay women. They think that they are so hot hot, a gay woman will change for them. NOT. People don't change.

Quite true. It works as a strategy, since people want to believe they can be the ONE to change someone. So for a person looking to find a partner (even as a one shot), pretending to be gay works. It's definitely a different kind of strategy!

That is an awesome topic! i can't believe the sly little devils and their mating stradegy. I haven't known anyone quite as sneaky as your friend or these little lizards but I think that some people act wounded to draw attention and pity from potential mates..LOL..Nice discussion!
