Hi, I'm just wondering how you copy your photo from the digital camera to your computer, how many of you connect the digital camera directly to the computer or take out the memory and use card reader to copy? I use card reader, coz' I don't want to plug the camera, I'm afraid it may make my camera malfunction ^^"

I use RICOH Caplio RR630 and I didn't have any problems with card or without card and my pc. It is loading images faster than from CDs or DVDs. Probably it is like USB with high capacity.

I have a laptop and a printer that has a compatible card reader at the top of it. I can put my memory card in the slot on my printer and I can then print a color photo. I sometimes scan photos using my printer and with a lead these can go to my laptop. I am not an expert so I often ask a friend to help me.

I used the memory card, too. My laptop has a card reader so it's really convenient. I think though that it's just as convenient as using the camera cable, but I dunno really 'cause I'm not using that way to upload my photos in my laptop.

I have the memory card ports on the front of my desktop computer so I transfer them that way. If I am using the laptop though I have to connect it via usb port. I have never had any problems either way with the computers or the cameras.
