Business Edge Network is a scam

I recently signed up for the free trial of Grant Now, from Business Edge Network (through a GPT site.) The signup plainly said it was a 7 day trial, and the confirmation email also said 7 days. I cancelled on the 6th day, but they had already charged me 59.99, and they said that they would not refund my money because I did not cancel within 3 days. I argued with them, and sent them a copy of the email they sent me, but they still insisted it was only a 3 day trial. Now I have to get my bank to dispute that charges, which means that they will cancel my debit card. So stay away from any programs or products from Business Edge Network, because they are a real money-making internet scam.

This happened to me as well. They charged the $59.97 right away, a day after I ordered a $1.97 trial (7-day) but it sounded like the 59.97 will be refunded if you cancel within 7 days. It says that no refunds will be given for cancellations AFTER 7 days. I cancelled on the 5th day after signing up, at their cancellation web page. When you call their customer service phone number, it rings & rings and is never answered. It is completely unreachable. When I saw the charge on my credit card, I thought it had to be an error and would be easily resolved. You can only contact them through their website, through a support ticket. They responded that I hadn't cancelled within 3 days of the trial. I wasn't sure if they were saying it was a 3 day trial, or if they were saying that cancellations had to be submitted within 3 days of the trial ending date. I have now (just minutes ago) replied to them telling that they are wrong. I most definitely cancelled according to their terms and there is no way they can insinuate that I hadn't. Now that I found this posting here, I see that they are doing this to other people. I reread their terms and there is nowhere anywhere in the terms that gives them any justification (no tricky word play, nothing) to what they are saying about 3 days. Total scam & thievery. I'd love an explanation about how they can justify what they're saying.

Hey. Just wanted to update this. I found another phone number for reaching the Business Edge Network's website registar/administrator a day ago, called it & left a voicemail. Today they replied thru email, the following: "My name is Jason Stanley and I received your voicemail complaint about the Grant Now product you purchased. I am currently in the process of refunding all charges that have not been refunded thus far. This could take a few days to go thru. The Grant Now system has updated their customer service so you should also be able to get thru at 1-888-511-8711. Sorry for the inconvenience." So, anyone having trouble with GrantNow or the Business Edge Network, when you did follow their terms, sounds like the customer service phone will be working again soon. If anyone wants the phone number I got thru with, let me know!
