Would you get rent money from your mother or father ??

Okay, i was reading some discussions and saw one that was saying about the trouble days she is living , she is broke, her father who used to live with them was paying rent to live with these people. Actually i didn't read the rest , no offense to this person but i was thinking about my situations and even i was in a really bad financial condition i would never ask rent from my mother or father for living next to me . The reason i am opening this discussions is to see how many people think like me and how many people don't and the reasons. Thank you all
