I'm wondering is it worth skipping school, if your set for the rest of your life. I mean like Bill Gate's son, he doesn't need to go to school he has more than 1 billion to spend. That itself could support many generations.

I think school is a better place for children to get socialized. Understanding people is always necessary for two reasons. One is, socializing relieves the stress to some extent and the other reason is life is unpredictable and we need people. Otherwise, I don't think going to school is not necessary if your question is concerned only about education. He can get it at home itself. As I said earlier, socializing matters. Idle mind becomes devil's kitchen.

By that same argument, he also wouldn't need to work. He might as well laze around all day doing nothing. I don't see why being rich has anything to do with a decision whether to go to school. If anything, the only influence should be whether you can go to school.

I believe no matter how much you get rich, you will still need an education. You need to learn to read, write and count to function normally in this life. Without education one will not enjoy much of his wealth no matter how great it may have become.

I think no! Education in school doesnt pertain only for financial activities and money! Education means more than that. Our development being a human, personality, morale and etc can be learn by socializing to others. And i think life would be boring if you dont learn something new. Being educated person is a fullfillment, it nourish the whole being of a person. So dont skip schooling even though you get a lot of money.

If I had enough money to never worry about working I would spend it on education. I love learning, and would consider it an investment. Besides all that I would need to use my mind doing something or I would go crazy.

don't you want an education? having money is great but not having an education is really wasting your life. if you have money you can focus better on your studies knowing that your needs will be taken care of.
