Calling it a mission that may fundamentally change humanity's view of itself, NASA on Friday prepared to launch a telescope that will search our corner of the Milky Way galaxy for Earth-like planets. The Kepler spacecraft is scheduled to blast into space on top of a Delta II rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida just before 11 p.m. ET. "This is a historical mission. It's not just a science mission," NASA Associate Administrator Ed Weiler said during a pre-launch news conference. "It really attacks some very basic human questions that have been part of our genetic code since that first man or woman looked up in the sky and asked the question: Are we alone?" ...........So do you think we are alone?............. Do you think there are aliens in other planets? Do you think they might even live on earth with us? Do you think they fly in UFO's? Flying Saucers? What are your thoughts on this?

Hi, imaginelove, I believe we are not alone here. Aliens in other planets, yes, live on earth with us, I don't think so, fly in UFO, flying saucers, no, I don't think so, There are so many stars out there, and some of them may have a planet like earth, and some of those planets may have plants/animals, and some of the animals may evolve to be intelligent form, although the "some" maybe a very very small percentage, the "many" is so huge, it is too hard to believe there is only us in the universe. Happy myLotting !!

I agree with my not be alone. What do you imagine these aliens to look like? Do you think they may look like us, be fallen angels or demons, or look way different then what we picture them to look like?

As long as they stay where they are at, I will be fine. Don't need any little green men around here. Kinda off the topic, but should NASA keep spending all this money right now, when the economy and everything is falling apart. I guess it still is keeping people employed, but just seems not the right time to do it.

I agree. They should wait a few years or more to do this until the Economy is better. We are just getting more and more in debt. Really sad!

I support NASA, because they launch the satellite, because i am very tired with some people that use single word to anything they see, found, or another fact. With this , that may take a along time because, Earth-like planets very small, and very far. I am believe we are not alone, may be they live even with us now. I believe in science to reveal the mystery around us. GO NASA

yeah,i believe we are not alone.hoho, just like the X-FILE said. As we know, the universe is unlimited, and we,human being, only know little about it. it is a excited mission,i think, there are aliens in other planets and they have been the Earth many times, only we dont aware it. About UFO,i believe, there must be the real one, although there are many fakes men made.

I think that it is a good idea to search for life on other worlds. They say that ignorance is bliss but that is simply not true. We need to be aware of what goes on out in the universe. Look at it this way. Would rather we find an extraterrestrial civilization, or would you rather have the extraterrestrial civilization find us? We need to know what we are dealing with.
