Do you think killing animals for Fur and Skin is Cruel?

Do you think when people kill animals for fur and skin it's cruel? I have seen some horrible videos with these animals still alive after they were skinned for their fur and skin. It is horrible and sad!
I would never buy fur and skin after watching these videos. I feel so sad for these poor animals. They have to suffer so much pain just so people can "try" to look all pretty and classy. I don't think it's classy wearing fur and skin when you know what these poor animals have to go through for you to wear skin or fur!
What are your feelings on this and why do you believe the way you do?

I think its cruel for sure...the only reason for killing animals is to eat them. Theres no need to use their skins as fur, unless youre living a tribe in the middle of nowhere and live a completely primative life.

I agree with you 100%. When Indians used to use fur and skin, they would always eat the animal and use the animals bones for weapons and try to use the whole animal and not waste it. I have respect for that. I believe Animals should be used to eat and not to look all pretty and fancy. I don't think its pretty when people wear fur and skin now.

Yes cruel cruel cruel, I hate the way animals are treated in all areas's, even simple branding of the cattle, and cutting the bits off them as they do, no pain relief or anything, its disgusting...We shouldn't put any living creature through pain..we wouldn't like it... still not sure it will work,

cruel,very cruel! quite cruel!
in our country,,this is forbidden,,,if you kill some the animal,you will be published by law and goverment, of course-in our world,any animal is equal to any people,if any of them hurt any person ,we must publish it,the same to person,but,we are the stongest animal in the world,so,we do sth unreasonal,,,,this is angry!!!
