I might be stupid, but... I'm confused!

Okay, here is what I'm confused about: I have always thought that 0.02 means 2 cents and 0.2 means 20 cents. But, somehow that's not what my earning are reflecting when I check them! I checked my earning at one site that I had completed a whole bunch of 0.2 offeres and I had a grand total of 0.00028654! Haha. What the heck is that supposed to mean? Did I miss something in math class? A little clarification here would be so appreciated right about now.

That's called the Your Not Getting Paid math... I noticed the .02 didn't have a 4 in front of it. You could be earning .02 grains of sand.

If I am not incorrect here the 0.2 means 2 pence and that is how my earning here had started and reached the minimum payout level. If it is otherwise I do not know.
