what will you think when your matter from by post office is delayed??

hey friends, suppose if you will apply for an importnt job but your matter will delayed by post due to some unawareness by the post worker.and you will lost a serious opportunity which will change your life.so ,whats your reaction at that time??whats your opinion about the whole scenario and what will you do next?? can you file case against the post office but this will does no give your job??

I guess you must have gone through this situation. I would be very angry with the post office, but then which branch can I blame. Where did it go wrong. All you can do is, prove to the company who has called you by showing them the post office stamped date at the back of the cover. If the company is understanding, its worth working for them. Or else, what the heck. If they cannot understand now, will they really take care of you?

Hi yadav8797, I don't think you can file a case against the post office as they don't know the details of matter but things like this should have been marked urgent or sent my refistered express so you would have had it earlier and would have got your job, it just bad luck. Tamara

In this day and age, it's pretty weird that a company would still send a job interview schedule, etc using snail mail. Isn't that kind of a sign that the company isn't really moving forward. It's almost guaranteed that thru the use of email or by giving a mobile or landline call that they will be able to reach you. I'm not saying that the post office made no faults, it's just that there are a whole lot more efficient ways to communicate nowadays, especially if it's for filling a position which a company needs.
