The Prophets

I want all who comment to keep this a peaceful discussion. We are here to learn. This not in any disrespect to Mohamed. "Ash'hadu anna la elah ella Allah wa Ash'hadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah" ( I beleive some say Abdul wa Rasul) Please forgive me if I have it wrong, modern Arabic is not one of my main fields of studies. translation: "I testify that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Here is my question, Why do non Muslims, Christians, Jews etc. find offence in this? If I were to substitute the name Mohamed, with the name Jesus, Isiah, Jeremiah or even Moses would you still find fault with this? Lets have a civilised discussion.

'Allah' is the Arabic word for God. While Jews called God 'Yahweh', christians call God 'The Father', Hindus call God 'Brahman', muslims call God as 'Allah'. There is no God but Allah only means to say thee is only one God. But the one God can have numerous names and forms.
