Do you forget where you've parked your car?

I just got home from the mall and once again on the way back to the parking lot, i can't remember where exactly the car was parked. This always happen. I would remember the parking level and the letter of the post near where the car was parked but would tend to forget when I am about to get home.

yeah. maybe forgetting where the car is parked is a unique trait of the female mind?

i've been thinking that may be anything that has to do with car is something a woman is not good at :) because i am not also good with parking the car in the first place. i do not know how to park a car backing up.

Normally, while parking my car, I make a (mental) note of it that where I am partkign the car. I try to remember any land mark of insignia of that place, so that when I come back, I should be able to trace my car. It appears that you go for shopping in the mall for pretty long hours and in the process tend to forget about the location of your car.

That's makes me think about my daughter and I we went down town shopping we had a great time shopping we had lunch and super then when we came out to get get the car...She ask me where she park it in parking lot which there was 6 of them around there I didn't know which one I thought there's only one ha.ha. we look all night till 9o'oclock then went home got some 4 freinds to help us to find it the next day it was really expencise day and we found the car up from the mall, we will not do that again.plus they didn't have cell phones at the time. it took us the all day

We had such experience several years ago, the first time going to a new mall. It has several basements underneath ground. Getting back to the underground, we could not find, which basement, which row, which postion. Only then we saw big signs of Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter to represent different parking areas. Since then on, we became very careful looking for identifying signs, esp. in airport parking lots, and social underground ones.

it would be very helpful if the parking levels have unique identifying signs because most parking levels look just the same.

Haha.. it is an interesting and funny topic. However, I never forget the place I've parked my car because these days, the guys at the parking lot provide you with a ticket, on which the parking level and the block in which the car has been parked are clearly mentioned. Hence, even if you forget, it takes just a moment to look it up on the parking ticket.

it's good that the parking ticket indicates the level and the block. i suppose the ticketing is done manually? it's not a feature in the parking ticket here, because a machine will just issue a ticket at the parking entrance so there's no way for that info to be printed on the ticket. also, you are a male so i supposed things about cars is not a problem with you

I do that a lot. I have no sense of direction and I forget where I have parked the car especially in the parking lot of a mall. I then hit the lock button in the key, so that the headlights start to blink and then walk towards it. I luckily have people with me most of the times who have a good sense for directions. I am now always cautious when I go out alone and keep a landmark or something to not lose the car lol

lol! it's just hard to keep a landmark because all the parking lot level look the same! hahaha! it's a good thing to every weekends when the car park is always full, i am with my husband. but if after we are done with the grocery and i ask him to go ahead because i have something else to buy that's when my problem starts. because i don't exert an effort remembering where my husband parked the car. well, luckily cellphone comes handy during this situation.

It's happened to me on a couple of occassions when i have had a lot of things in my mind and walked in the opposite direction of where i have parked the car. On some instances, when i park the car in other places that i normally do, it takes me a few moments to remember.

yeah, it happened to many many times. With lots of cars parked in the mall parking area, it is very difficult to find where I parked my car.
