Has packaging gone bananas?

I saw this title in english digest,i think this is an intersting topic. When we go into any supermarket, the first thing we'll see isn't food,we are looking at cardboard ,glass, metal, polyvinyl chloride,high-density polyethylene-in fact, ailse after ailse of packaging.Packaging has many benefits, and makes life easier for us,but the sad thing is that it's something we take for granted. It's clear that a large part of packaging is just to make things look good and make them saleable. It's not about conservation of food or anything else.Annually ,we use about eight million carrier bags.Globally,a lot of rubbish produced. What's your opinion?

I think they should think of ways of dealing with used packaging. I am sure that their brilliant brains could easily come up with something that is good for the planet while not costing too much. Cheers!!

indeed so, as well as producing too much rubbish on the cost of food has increased. In Italy, where i answer, you're starting to think aout the distribution. Machines and pasta dishes like that with just a bag you can take the desired amount. Is only an idea, but it will also cause problems for the industries that produce paper. At the end a real final solution does not exist.
