I could not understand what actually happened during the last hours yesterday. Munaf was bowling and I think that was true catch at boundary. It was not given. On second ball, it was catch taken by Dhoni and still not given.Munaf was displaced. Can you tell me what was the actual reason.

munaf had bowled two beamers ....it was about to hit the face of the bats man...this should not happen..he will be warned for first beamer and if he bowls the second beamer he will be replaced..he should not bowl for the entire match...

Hi to all........ Well, Munaf Patel bowled two beamers in that over...... According to ICC rules, if a bowler bowls two beamers in a match, then he will not be allowed to bowl again in that match....... So, the umpires stopped Munaf Patel........ HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY MYLOTTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As others have said, Munaf had boweled two beamers. In cricket one cannot bowl beamers as this can cause injury or even cause threatening to life of the batsman. Munaf was taken off the match because he bowled two beamers. I think it is a fair rule that bowler given two beamer option than one because one can be like slipping from the hand.
